We were lucky enough to have Maria join the Goad and Goad LLP team in March 2017, from a tip from retiring lawyer, John Cosman. Mr. Cosman was kind enough to let us know he would be retiring and closing the practice and had a wonderful legal assistant whom he thought would fit well with the Goad and Good LLP team. Maria was a Legal Assistant/Office Manager for Copp & Cosman for many years. In addition to some of Mr. Cosman’s larger clients that he referred to us, we managed to pick up Maria as well. With over 30 years experience, Maria has legal knowledge in a variety of areas including but not limited to Estates, Wills and Powers of Attorney, Corporate and Real Estate. Maria is resourceful and committed to exceeding client’s expectations. Her attention to detail is excellent and provides our clients with a steadying backdrop for communication and interaction.

Maria was born in the Azores and has called Cambridge home since 1971.

She graduated from the Secretarial Arts – Legal Program, at Conestoga College of Applied Arts and Technology.

When she is not at the office, Maria enjoys spending time with her family (especially with her granddaughter), reading, and travelling.
